How to Change WiFi Password in MTNL and BSNL

broadband(For MTNL Users)

1. Open your web browser and type the following IP in the address bar

192.168.1.1″ (without inverted comma)

2. Now press Enter.

3. A pop up will show up asking you to enter Username and Password to login.Enter the details in the required field and press OK

(If this is your first time visit then enter admin in both the Username and Password  fields)

4. Now you will be redirected to Your Modem or Router Settings Page.

5. Click Interface Setup tab and select Wireless(see image below)

6. In the Multiple SSIDs Settings look for Authentication Type

7. Select it and scroll down to select your authentication type (WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK) and click on it

8. In the WPA-PSK section the Pre-Shared Key is Password of your MTNL WiFi router.

Now you can change it to anything which you like but easy to remember.
Your password should contain 8-63 ASCII Characters or 64 Hexadecimal Characters
That’s it,you have changed your MTNL WiFi Broadband password.

How to Change WiFi Password in MTNL and BSNL broadband(For BSNL Users)

1. Open your web browser and type the following IP in the address bar

6.Find WEP Section in the open page And Enter your password in Key#1 Box

Now restart your router and your WiFi password will be changed.

It is recommended to change the Wi-Fi Password Time to Time as it will ensure to limit unauthorized use of your Internet.
