Device >> data >> data >> com.whatsapp >> shared_prefs

  • Tap on Edit to edit this file.Scroll down and look for </map> in the last line.
  • Add the following  line before </map> tag.

  • Save the file with the changes made by you as it is and close ES File Explorer
  • Go to Settings>App and Force Stop WhatsApp.

  • First Decompile WhatsApp
  • Now open Androidmanifest.xml
  • Search for the following code

        </activity>

 

  • Change the code from above to the one with below

  • Search for the following line
<activity android:configChanges="keyboard|keyboardHidden|orientation|screenLayout|screenSize|smallestScreenSize|uiMode" android:label="@string/app_name" android:launchMode="singleTask" android:name="com.whatsapp.HomeActivity" android:theme="@style/Theme.App.Home"/>
  • Now change this also to the following
 <activity android:configChanges="keyboard|keyboardHidden|orientation|screenLayout|screenSize|smallestScreenSize|uiMode" android:label="@string/app_name" android:launchMode="singleTask" android:name="com.whatsapp.HomeActivity" android:theme="@style/Theme.App.Home">
   <intent-filter>
              <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN"/>
                <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER"/>
                <category android:name="android.intent.category.MULTIWINDOW_LAUNCHER"/>
         </intent-filter>
     </activity>
  • Compile it and sign
  • uninstall your previous WhatsApp app and Install this new modded app
